حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ حَدَّثَنَا بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْحَرِيرِ وَالذَّهَبِ وَعَنْ مَيَاثِرِ النُّمُورِ.
English Translation
Hayweh b. Shurayh and Ahmad b. Abd al-Malik narrated to us: they said, Baqiyya narrated to us: Bahir b. Sa'd narrated to us, from Khalid b. Ma'dan, from al-Miqdam b. Ma'dikarib, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade silk and gold, and tiger-skin saddle covers.
