حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَوَكِيعٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَسْتَغْفِرُ لِلصَّفِّ الْمُقَدَّمِ ثَلَاثًا وَلِلثَّانِي مَرَّةً.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id and Waki' narrated to us, they said: Hisham narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim, from Khalid ibn Ma'dan, from al-Irbad ibn Sariya, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek forgiveness for the front row three times, and for the second row once.
