حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَهُ فَقَدْ غَزَا.
English Translation
Mu'awiyah ibn Amr told us, saying: Ibn Wahb told us, from Amr ibn al-Harith, from Bukayr ibn al-Ashajj, from Busr ibn Sa'id, from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Whoever equips a fighter in the way of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has himself taken part in the fighting, and whoever looks after his family in his place has himself taken part in the fighting."
