حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ رُؤْبَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْوَاحِدِ النَّصْرِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ وَاثِلَةَ بْنَ الْأَسْقَعِ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْمَرْأَةُ تَحُوزُ ثَلَاثَةَ مَوَارِيثَ عَتِيقَهَا وَلَقِيطَهَا وَالْوَلَدَ الَّذِي لَاعَنَتْ عَلَيْهِ.
English Translation
Yazid ibn Abd Rabbih told us, saying: Muhammad ibn Harb al-Khawlani told us, saying: Umar ibn Ru'bah told me, saying: I heard Abd al-Wahid al-Nasri say: I heard Wathilah ibn al-Asqa' mention that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A woman inherits (by) three (rights of) inheritance: her freed slave, her foundling, and the child upon whom she made li'an (mutual imprecation, disowning its father)."
