حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَشَارٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ أَوْ أَحَدُهُمَا عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَصَّرَ بِمِشْقَصٍ.
English Translation
Ibrahim ibn 'Abdullah ibn Bashshar al-Wasiti narrated to us: Mu'ammal and Abu Ahmad, or one of them, narrated to us from Sufyan from Ja'far ibn Muhammad from his father from Ibn 'Abbas from Mu'awiya: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, shortened his hair with an arrowhead.
