Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'ba narrated to us, saying: I heard Abu Ishaq relate from 'Amir ibn Sa'd al-Bajali from Jarir: that he heard Mu'awiya delivering a sermon, saying: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, died at the age of sixty-three, and Abu Bakr, may Allah be well pleased with him, at the age of sixty-three, and 'Umar at the age of sixty-three, and I am sixty-three years old.'
