حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ يَعْنِي عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَهِدْتُ غُلَامًا مَعَ عُمُومَتِي حِلْفَ الْمُطَيَّبِينَ فَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي حُمْرَ النَّعَمِ وَأَنِّي أَنْكُثُهُ.
English Translation
Talhah ibn Ubaydullah reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The people of Islam will not gather upon misguidance, so if you see disagreement, follow the majority.'
