English Translation
Abd al-Malik ibn Amr and Abd al-Samad told us, they said: Hisham told us, from Qatadah, from Sa'id, who said: Mu'awiyah said one day: You have introduced a bad custom; the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade false hair - and Abd al-Samad said: al-zur. He said: And a man came with a stick with a rag on its top, and he said: Behold, this is the false hair. Abu Amir said: Qatadah said: It is what women use to increase their hair with rags.
