حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يُخَمِّسْ السَّلَبَ.
English Translation
Abu al-Mughirah told us: Safwan ibn Amr told us, he said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Jubayr ibn Nufayr told me, from his father, from Awf ibn Malik al-Ashja'i and Khalid ibn al-Walid, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not deduct a fifth from personal spoils taken in single combat.
