English Translation
Yunus told us, he said: Abu Awanah told us, from al-Ash'ath ibn Sulaym, from his father, from a man of Banu Yarbu', who said: I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and I heard him speaking to the people, saying, "The giving hand is the upper hand - [give first to] your mother and your father, your sister and your brother, then those nearest to you, then those nearest to you." He said: Then a man said, "O Messenger of God, these are Banu Tha'labah, those who attacked so-and-so." The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "No soul shall bear the burden of another."
