قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَكِّيٌّ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا تَوَارَتْ بِالْحِجَابِ.
English Translation
Makki told us: Yazid ibn Abi Ubayd told us, from Salamah ibn al-Akwa', who said: "We used to pray Maghrib with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, as soon as the sun disappeared behind the veil (i.e., as soon as it had set)."
