قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ الْيَمَامِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِيَاسُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ الْأَسْلَمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ مَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَفْتِحُ دُعَاءً إِلَّا اسْتَفْتَحَهُ بِسُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى الْعَلِيِّ الْوَهَّابِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Samad told us, he said: Umar ibn Rashid al-Yamami told us, he said: Iyas ibn Salamah ibn al-Akwa' al-Aslami told us, from his father, who said: "I never heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, open a supplication except that he opened it with: 'Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, the Exalted, the Bestower.'"
