قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ أَنَّ حَبَّانَ بْنَ وَاسِعٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ الْمَازِنِيَّ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ فَمَضْمَضَ ثُمَّ اسْتَنْشَقَ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى ثَلَاثًا وَالْأُخْرَى ثَلَاثًا وَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ بِمَاءٍ غَيْرِ فَضْلِ يَدِهِ وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ حَتَّى أَنْقَاهُمَا.
English Translation
He said: Surayj ibn al-Nu'man narrated to us, who said: 'Abdullah ibn Wahb al-Misri narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn al-Harith ibn Ya'qub al-Ansari, that Habban ibn Wasi' al-Ansari told him that he heard 'Abdullah ibn Zayd ibn 'Asim al-Mazini mention that he saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, perform ablution: he rinsed his mouth, then inhaled water into his nose, then washed his face three times, his right hand three times, and the other three times, and wiped his head with water other than the leftover water of his hand, and washed his feet until he made them clean.
