حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يُوسُفَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً سَمِعَهُ مِنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ قَالَ سَمَّانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوسُفَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِي.
English Translation
Waki' told us: Yahya ibn Abi al-Haytham al-Attar told us, who said: I heard Yusuf ibn Abdullah ibn Salam - and he said another time: he heard it from Yusuf ibn Abdullah ibn Salam - say: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, named me Yusuf and wiped my head."
