حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَقْرَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ أَبِيهِ بِالْقَاعِ مِنْ نَمِرَةَ فَمَرَّ بِنَا رَكْبٌ فَقَالَ أَبِي يَا بُنَيَّ كُنْ فِي بَهْمِكَ حَتَّى آتِيَ هَؤُلَاءِ الْقَوْمَ فَأُسَائِلَهُمْ فَدَنَا وَدَنَوْتُ فَكُنْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى عُفْرَتَيْ إِبْطَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ.
English Translation
Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi told us: Dawud ibn Qays told us, from Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Aqram, who said: my father told me that he was with his father at al-Qa' of Namira. A group of riders passed by us. My father said: "O my son, stay with your lambs until I go to these people and question them." He drew near, and I drew near, and I was looking at the whiteness of the armpits of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was prostrating.
