English Translation
Waki' told us: Sufyan told us, from Abu Hashim, Isma'il ibn Kathir, from Asim ibn Laqit ibn Sabira, from his father, who said: I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he slaughtered a sheep for us, and said: "Do not think" - and he did not say "let him not think" - "that we slaughtered it only for you; rather, we have sheep, and when they reach a hundred, we slaughter a sheep."
