English Translation
Al-Fayyad ibn Muhammad al-Raqqi told us, from Ja'far ibn Burqan, from Thabit ibn al-Hajjaj al-Kilabi, from Abdullah al-Hamdani, from al-Walid ibn Uqba, who said: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, conquered Mecca, the people of Mecca began bringing him their young children, and he would wipe their heads and pray for them. I was brought to him while I was scented with saffron ointment, and he did not wipe my head, and nothing prevented him from that except that my mother had scented me with the ointment, so he did not touch me because of the ointment.
