حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا غَلَبَ قَوْمًا أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُقِيمَ بِعَرْصَتِهِمْ ثَلَاثًا.
English Translation
Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh told us: Sa'id ibn Abi Aruba told us, from Qatada, from Anas ibn Malik, from Abu Talha, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, whenever he overcame a people, liked to remain in their courtyard for three days.
