English Translation
He said: Waki' told us, he said: Al-A'mash told us, from Abu Wa'il, from Qays ibn Abi Gharazah, who said: We used to buy loads of goods in Medina, and we were called the samasirah. He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to us and named us with a name better than what we used to call ourselves, and said: "O company of merchants, indeed this trading is attended by idle talk and swearing, so mix it with charity."
