English Translation
He said: Hashim told us, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b — and Yazid said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us — from Sa'id ibn Khalid, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Uthman, who said: A physician mentioned medicine in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and mentioned the frog being used in medicine, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade killing it.
