حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ هَارُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ مُوسَى بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحُبَابِ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أُنَيْسٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُمْ تَذَاكَرُوا هُوَ وَعُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ يَوْمًا الصَّدَقَةَ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ ذَكَرَ غُلُولَ الصَّدَقَةِ إِنَّهُ مَنْ غَلَّ مِنْهَا بَعِيرًا أَوْ شَاةً أُتِيَ بِهِ يَحْمِلُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُنَيْسٍ بَلَى.
English Translation
Harun ibn Ma'ruf told us — Abdullah said: and I also heard it from Harun myself — he said: Ibn Wahb told us: Amr ibn al-Harith told us, that Musa ibn Jubayr told him, that Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hubab al-Ansari told him, that Abdullah ibn Unays told him: that he and Umar ibn al-Khattab were discussing charity (zakat) one day, and Umar said, 'Did you not hear the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he mentioned the embezzlement of charity, [say] that whoever embezzles a camel or a sheep from it will be brought carrying it on the Day of Resurrection?' Abdullah ibn Unays said, 'Yes indeed.'
