قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ عَلَى ظَهْرِ كُلِّ بَعِيرٍ شَيْطَانٌ فَإِذَا رَكِبْتُمُوهَا فَسَمُّوا اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ثُمَّ لَا تُقَصِّرُوا عَنْ حَاجَاتِكُمْ.
English Translation
Attab narrated to us: Abdullah and Ali b. Ishaq narrated to us: Abdullah — that is Ibn al-Mubarak — informed us: Usamah b. Zayd informed us: Muhammad b. Hamzah informed me, that he heard his father say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "On the back of every camel is a devil; so when you mount them, invoke the name of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, then do not fall short in attending to your needs."
