English Translation
Mus'ab ibn al-Miqdam and Muhammad ibn Sabiq narrated to us, they said: Isra'il narrated to us from Abu al-Juwayriyah, that Ma'n ibn Yazid told him: I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, I and my father and my grandfather, and he sought a wife for me in marriage and married me to her, and I brought a dispute before him: my father Yazid had gone out with some dinars to give in charity, and placed them with a man in the mosque; I took them and brought them to him. He said: By God, it was not you I intended! So I brought the dispute to the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: You have what you intended, O Yazid, and you have what you took, O Ma'n.
