ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ الْفُسَّاقَ هُمْ أَهْلُ النَّارِ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ الْفُسَّاقُ قَالَ النِّسَاءُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَسْنَ أُمَّهَاتِنَا وَبَنَاتِنَا وَأَخَوَاتِنَا قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنَّهُنَّ إِذَا أُعْطِينَ لَمْ يَشْكُرْنَ وَإِذَا ابْتُلِينَ لَمْ يَصْبِرْنَ.
English Translation
Then he said: 'Indeed, the sinful ones are the people of the Fire.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, who are the sinful ones?' He said: 'Women.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, are they not our mothers, daughters, and sisters?' He said: 'Yes, but when they are given they do not show gratitude, and when they are tested they do not show patience.'
