حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِعَلِيٍّ أَنْتَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى قِيلَ لِسُفْيَانَ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي قَالَ قَالَ نَعَمْ.
English Translation
Sa'd reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to Ali: 'You are to me what Harun was to Musa.' It was said to Sufyan: 'Except that there is no prophet after me?' He said: 'Yes.'
