حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَبَّانُ وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ عَنْ زَبَّانَ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ حَرَسَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى مُتَطَوِّعًا لَا يَأْخُذُهُ سُلْطَانٌ لَمْ يَرَ النَّارَ بِعَيْنَيْهِ إِلَّا تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَقُولُ { وَإِنْ مِنْكُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَا }.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever guards behind the Muslims in the cause of Allah the Blessed and Exalted voluntarily, without being ordered by a ruler, will not see the Fire with his own eyes except to fulfill the oath, for Allah the Blessed and Exalted says: There is none of you but will pass over it.'
