حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ سَعْدٌ عَنْ الْبَيْضَاءِ بِالسُّلْتِ فَكَرِهَهُ وَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسْأَلُ عَنْ الرُّطَبِ بِالتَّمْرِ فَقَالَ يَنْقُصُ إِذَا يَبِسَ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ فَلَا إِذَنْ.
English Translation
Sa'd was asked about selling white wheat for barley. He disliked it and said: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) being asked about selling fresh dates for dried dates. He said: 'Do they decrease when they dry?' They said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Then no.'
