حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ الْمَدَنِيِّ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَدْوَةٌ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا وَمَوْضِعُ سَوْطِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'A morning journey or an evening journey in the cause of Allah is better than the world and all that is in it, and the space of a whip of one of you in Paradise is better than the world and all that is in it.'
