حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُلْتَزِمًا الْبَابَ مَا بَيْنَ الْحَجَرِ وَالْبَابِ وَرَأَيْتُ النَّاسَ مُلْتَزِمِينَ الْبَيْتَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
English Translation
Abd al-Rahman ibn Safwan said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) holding on to the door, between the Black Stone and the door, and I saw the people holding on to the House (Ka'bah) with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).'
