حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا سَيْفٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُجَاهِدًا يَقُولُ كَانَ السَّائِبُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّائِبِ الْعَابِدِيُّ شَرِيكَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ قَالَ فَجَاءَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ فَقَالَ بِأَبِي وَأُمِّي لَا تُدَارِي وَلَا تُمَارِي.
English Translation
Al-Sa'ib ibn Abi al-Sa'ib al-Abidi was the business partner of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in the pre-Islamic era. He came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the day of the conquest of Makkah and said: 'By my father and mother, you would neither deceive nor quarrel.'
