English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq told us: Ma'mar informed us, from Ibn Tawus, from Ikrimah ibn Khalid, from al-Muttalib ibn Abi Wada'ah, who said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, prostrate during Surat al-Najm, and the people prostrated with him." Al-Muttalib said: "But I did not prostrate with them, being at that time a polytheist." Al-Muttalib said: "So I have never since abandoned prostrating in it."
