حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبَّادٌ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْبَيْلَمَانِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ حَجَّ أَوْ اعْتَمَرَ فَلْيَكُنْ آخِرَ عَهْدِهِ الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ خَرَرْتَ مِنْ يَدَيْكَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ لَمْ تُحَدِّثْنِي.
English Translation
Surayj ibn al-Nu'man told us: Abbad informed us, from al-Hajjaj ibn Artah, from Abd al-Malik ibn al-Mughirah, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Baylamani, from Amr ibn Aws, from al-Harith ibn Aws, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever performs Hajj or Umrah, let the last thing he does be the circumambulation of the House." Umar ibn al-Khattab said to him: "You have dropped it from your hand - you heard this from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and yet did not tell me!"
