English Translation
Hushaym ibn Bashir told us, from Abu Bishr, Ja'far ibn Iyas, from Yusuf ibn Mahak, from Hakim ibn Hizam, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, a man comes to me asking me to sell him something I do not have with me, and then I go and buy it for him from the market; [is that permitted]?" He said, "Do not sell what is not with you."
