English Translation
Musa ibn Dawud told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The likeness of the believer is that of the ear of grain: at times it stands upright, and at times it bends and then straightens again. And the likeness of the disbeliever is that of the cedar tree, standing firmly upright, unaware of any weakness until it suddenly falls."
