حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَإِذَا قَالُوهَا عَصَمُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
English Translation
Ishaq ibn Isa told us, Sharik told us, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I have been commanded to fight the people until they say: 'There is no god but Allah.' When they say it, they have protected from me their blood and their property, except by its right, and their reckoning is upon Allah, Mighty and Majestic."
