English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah told us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever plants a plant, and a human, bird, wild animal, or beast eats from it, it is charity for him." Muhammad ibn Ubayd told us, al-A'mash told us, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, who said: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, what are the two necessitating things?" And he mentioned the hadith.
