حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ بَيْنَ الرَّجُلِ وَبَيْنَ الشِّرْكِ أَوْ الْكُفْرِ تَرْكُ الصَّلَاةِ.
English Translation
Surayj told us, Ibn Abi al-Zinad told us, from Musa ibn Uqbah, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Between a man and shirk, or disbelief, is the abandonment of prayer."
