English Translation
Rawh told us, Zakariyya told us, Abu al-Zubayr told us, that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade nabidh in glazed jars, tarred vessels, gourds, and hollowed-out tree trunks. And when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) could not find anything else in which to make his nabidh, it was made for him in a stone basin.
