حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَحْيَا أَرْضًا مَيْتَةً فَهِيَ لَهُ وَمَا أَكَلَتْ الْعَافِيَةُ مِنْهُ لَهُ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ.
English Translation
Hammad ibn Usama told us, Hisham ibn Urwah told me, Ubaydullah ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Rafi told me, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever revives a dead land, it is his, and whatever wild animals eat of it is charity for him.
