English Translation
Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd told us, 'Ubaydullah ibn al-Walid told us, from Muharib ibn Dithar, who said: Some of the Prophet's companions, peace and blessings be upon him, visited Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, and he set before them bread and vinegar, saying, "Eat, for I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'What an excellent condiment vinegar is.'"
