حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ بَيْنَ الْعَبْدِ وَبَيْنَ الْكُفْرِ أَوْ الشِّرْكِ تَرْكُ الصَّلَاةِ.
English Translation
Mu'awiya ibn 'Amr told us, Abu Ishaq told us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "Between a servant and disbelief, or polytheism, is the abandonment of prayer."
