حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ مِينَا عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُعَاوَمَةِ فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا وَبَيْعِ السِّنِينَ وَعَنْ بَيْعِ الثُّنْيَا وَرَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا.
English Translation
Affan told us, Hammad ibn Zayd told us, Ayyub informed us, from Abu al-Zubayr and Sa'id ibn Mina, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade al-muhaqalah, al-muzabanah, and al-mu'awamah - one of the two narrators said: and selling produce years in advance - and forbade the sale with an option of return, and permitted the ariyyah.
