English Translation
Abdullah told us, Bahz told us, Salim ibn Hayyan told us, Sa'id ibn Mina told us, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade selling fruit before it ripens. I said to Sa'id: What does ripening mean? He said: It turns red and yellow, and can be eaten.
