حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُنْكَدِرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ وَإِنَّ مِنْ الْمَعْرُوفِ أَنْ تَلْقَى أَخَاكَ بِوَجْهٍ طَلْقٍ وَأَنْ تُفْرِغَ مِنْ دَلْوِكَ فِي إِنَاءِ أَخِيكَ.
English Translation
Qutaybah ibn Sa'id told us, al-Munkadir ibn Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir told us, from his father, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Every good deed is charity, and among good deeds is that you meet your brother with a cheerful face, and that you pour from your bucket into your brother's vessel.
