حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ التَّسْبِيحُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ.
English Translation
Abidah ibn Humayd told us, Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla told me, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Glorification in prayer is for the men, and clapping is for the women."
