English Translation
Shadhan Aswad ibn 'Amir told us, Sharik told us, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn 'Aqil, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, wanted to leave 'Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, behind, 'Ali said to him, "What will people say about me if you leave me behind?" He said: So he, the Prophet, said, "Are you not content to be to me in the position that Harun was to Musa, except that there is no prophet after me?" - or "there will be no prophet after me."
