English Translation
Hasan told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, Abu al-Zubayr told us, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Wear sandals often, for one of you remains, as it were, mounted so long as he wears sandals." And in another place: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, during a military expedition he waged, "Get plenty of sandals, for a man remains, as it were, mounted so long as he wears sandals."
