حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ وَإِنِّي أَشْتَرِطُ عَلَى رَبِّي أَيَّ عَبْدٍ مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ شَتَمْتُهُ أَوْ سَبَبْتُهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ زَكَاةً وَأَجْرًا.
English Translation
Rawh told us, Ibn Jurayj told us, Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir say: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "I am only a human being, and I stipulate with my Lord that whichever Muslim servant I curse or revile, let that be for him a purification and a reward."
