حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَوْمًا يَتَوَضَّئُونَ فَلَمْ يَمَسَّ أَعْقَابَهُمْ الْمَاءُ فَقَالَ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنْ النَّارِ.
English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah told us: al-A'mash told us, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw a group of people performing ablution while the water had not touched their heels, and he said: "Woe to the heels from the Fire."
