حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّتِهِ أَيُّ يَوْمٍ أَعْظَمُ حُرْمَةً قَالُوا يَوْمُنَا هَذَا قَالَ فَأَيُّ شَهْرٍ أَعْظَمُ حُرْمَةً قَالُوا شَهْرُنَا هَذَا قَالَ فَأَيُّ بَلَدٍ أَعْظَمُ حُرْمَةً قَالُوا بَلَدُنَا هَذَا قَالَ فَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا.
English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah told us: al-A'mash told us, from Abu Salih, from Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said during his Pilgrimage: "Which day is greatest in sanctity?" They said: "This day of ours." He said: "Which month is greatest in sanctity?" They said: "This month of ours." He said: "Which land is greatest in sanctity?" They said: "This land of ours." He said: "Then indeed your blood and your wealth are as sacred to you as the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this land of yours."
